Training Supervisor

Description:
PURPOSE To implement industry-leading training programs for multiple state manufacturing facilities in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. As a training supervisor, you will be required to assess current training and development systems, develop new training programs, implement measurement tools, and provide feedback. You may also be required to conduct research to identify specific staff training needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Designing and administering training programs. Providing expertise in development design. Identifying training needs and providing recommendations on programs and activities. Guiding managers and supervisors in developing training skills. Delivering training programs. Conducting staff training. Maintaining records and providing participants with feedback. Capable of regularly operating a vehicle for an extended period to travel to multiple state locations. COMPETENCIES Strong communication and presentation skills. Organizational skills. Adaptability skills. Enthusiasm for lifelong learning. Learning Management System (LMS) Content authoring tool. Video editing software. QUALIFICATIONS Outstanding knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for teaching and public speaking. Strong teamwork abilities. In-depth knowledge of staff learning and assessment protocol. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Education preferred. LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions. MATH ABILITY Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers. COMPUTER SKILLS Demonstrated computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Certified Professional in training management is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license. While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works with manufacturing equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to physically lift, lower, and carry products weighing up to 15 lbs. Operating a forklift or other manufacturing equipment is considered a "Safety Sensitive" function. A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, and loading or unloading such machinery. Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
