48541 - Regular - Representation: SOCIETY Job code: 00765003 Pay information: Schedule 1 / MP4 Hours of work (per week): 14 hr 2day 7hr THUR FRI Shift work: No Number of positions: 2 Town/City: Barrie, Ontario Department: OPRTNS&CST EX / SYS OPRTNS / TRNNG DEV Job Function: Responsible for the development, coordination, delivery, backssmment, and evaluation of training programs for staff, which includes refresher simulator and continuous training initiatives. Provide these services to other Business Units and external organizations as contracted. General Accountabilities: Participate on a team in performing assigned responsibilities Assist in the development of training documentation to support technical requirements, Instructions, Procedures, Standards and Practices Provide support and input to Hydro One strategic initiatives Provide initial and continuing training Review and provide feedback on new or revised documentation, processes and tools for the ISOC and OGCC use from the viewpoint of their training implications and operability Demonstrate a dedication to safety in the work place and adherence to instructional and safety training requirements Responsible for the development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of Tx and Dx training programs for new staff and continuous training initiatives. Provide these services to other Business Units and external organizations as contracted Create, review and maintain materials required for delivery and evaluation of Tx and Dx Control operations training and set standards for training Create, review, deliver, and maintain materials that meet the requirements for the System Operations Tx and Dx Training Programs Participate in the arrangements and coordination of system tests such as Voltage Reductions, System Restoration, Load Shedding, and other emergency procedures Development and delivery of training material in modern Distribution systems such as ADMS, DSO, AMI, etc. Manage the use of the Simulator.
