WTC ATSSA Traffic Control Trainer WTC ATSSA Trainer is motivated, creative and is devoted to developing new and current employees by providing them the skills, knowledge and behaviors needed to become effective contributors within WTC. The WTC ATSSA Trainer will conduct training classes focusing on programs developed by ATSSA (American Traffic Safety Services Association) which is recognized as the highest quality roadway safety training available as well as providing continued education, working with flaggers in the field. The WTC ATSSA Trainer will be responsible for evaluating and delivering a training plan that teaches our flagging staff to protect project personnel and provide safety to traffic seeking passage through a work zone. Responsibilities Conduct virtual training classes as well as on site classes as needed Conduct in field observations to evaluate and focus additional educational needs of any field member Analyze problems and strategize for a better solution Aid in processing new hire paperwork, verifying accuracy Develop a schedule and assess training needs Track and compile data Maintain a database of all training materials Coordinate training program with Director of Operations Conceptualize training materials based on data and research Provide a positive, interactive learning environment All other duties, as assigned Requirements and Qualifications Ability to travel between several office within the company if needed Must have ATSSA TCT certification ATSSA TCS certification is preferred Bachelor's degree preferred, or 2+ years previous experience in related position Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office, Power Point, instructional software a plus Acquire/possess training and certifications needed to perform job requirements, additional ATSSA certifications, Defensive Driver Training and CPR/First Aid Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement and goals The ability to communicate with all levels of management Excellent leadership and team building skills Great interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
