Passion for Success Intentionally committed to diversity of thought Inclusive of all people and perspectives Do the right thing, even when no one is watching Improving businesses & communities through collaborative solutions JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Instructor- Civilian Leadership Development Courses Reports to: IBEX Program Manager Location: Maxwell Air Force Base Montgomery, AL; Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, hours based on course needs Job Summary: IBEX IT Business Experts, LLC is looking for an Instructor that can Instruct US Air Force Air University Courses including: Civilian Leadership Development School (CLDS). The Instructor will be responsible for managing all aspects of client support to carry out the mission of the United States Air Force, Air University Civilian Leadership Development School (CLDS). This position will be responsible for course instruction and student support. This position works closely with government representatives to ensure all contract requirements are met to 100% satisfaction, forging a synergistic relationship. Required Education and Experience: Must provide resume and transcripts for verification of experience and requirements. 1 year of online instruction experience at the undergraduate level or military equivalent using locally approved LMS (e.g., Canvas, MS Teams, or similar technologies). 2 years of supervisory, leadership, and/or management experience as a Government (preferably USAF) civilian employee or comparable experience is highly desirable. Completion of Academic Instructor Course is mandatory prior to assuming duties of primary course instructor. Responsibilities: The Civilian Leadership Development School (CLDS) requires skills, knowledge, and experience to deliver curriculum using leading edge information and technologies. The instructor shall recommend methodologies, resource requirements, and use instructional media and methods tailored to the subject to achieve desired learning objectives. The contractor shall instruct Civilian Managerial and Supervisory (MST) Courses and Civilian Leadership Development Course. Each course may consist of multiple sessions/classes to meet the student demand through live remote seminars or with the creation of pre-recorded lectures. Deliver curricula, facilitate group discussions through synchronous and asynchronous online classrooms and learning management systems, monitor participant progress and account for participant activity/participation in a distance learning environment. Complete grading and respond to student questions, give feedback to students as needed and remediate them. Engage with students via phone and email to resolve course-related issues and help students make satisfactory progress as required. Provide the government with any requested data. Teach seminars IAW with policy and approved methodology using provided technology (e.g., conference lines for audio and webinar platforms using a web-cam employing the chat function). Review course surveys when provided for instructional-related feedback and make adjustments as necessary in coordination with the Government. Primary reviewer providing feedback as necessary for student progress in on-line discussion boards, assessments, exercises, quizzes, and other interactive activities for participation. Serve as focal point for all student questions during courses. Assist students with AU Portal and SIS accounts (e.g., registration, disenrollment, graduation, etc.) by coordinating with Course Support. Serve as online course support for other assigned course instructor(s) (e.g., additional support for online collaboration tools) as needed. Follow all policies and procedures for instructors described by AF, AETC, AU, Eaker, FSPDS and CADP guidance. REQUIREMENTSANDEXPERIENCE Must provide resume and transcripts for verification of experience and requirements. 1 year of online instruction experience at the undergraduate level or military equivalent using locally approved LMS (e.g., Canvas, MS Teams, or similar technologies). 2 years of supervisory, leadership, and/or management experience as a Government (preferably USAF) civilian employee or comparable experience is highly desirable. Completion of Academic Instructor Course is mandatory prior to assuming duties of primary course instructor. Work Environment The normal hours of operation are 0730 to1630 CT, Monday through Friday. Deviations to normal work hours may be necessary due to class schedules. This job requires work to be completed using standard office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds. Appearance All personnel shall wear business casual clothing for daily work and professional dress with customer meetings. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
