The facility produces a high volume of industry leading quality cheeseThe Third Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations and personnel of the following functional areas: Milk Receiving, Milk Preparation, Vat Deck, Production Line, Brine, Wrap Line, Ripening, Whey Process, and Evaporator. These Supervisors are responsible for achieving and maintaining quality, food safety, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements, while producing USDA and customer specified products of the highest quality. This Supervisor will also work closely with the Production Manager to meet all production deadlines and work collaboratively with the Management Team and production employees to optimize production quantities and quality, control product losses, and increase the competitiveness of the Guggisberg company brand.Minimum Qualifications1-2 years of Supervisory experience requiredFood experience a plusIntermediate skill level in Excel, Word and other Microsoft products;Excellent technical ability and aptitudeAbility to read, interpret, apply critical thinking and problem solving to complex situations and develop solutions to urgent problemsExcellent time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a diverse populationAbility to supervise people in a constructive and supportive manner to achieve goals and maximize efficienciesAbility to learn, apply, and hold others accountable to regulations and rules, and demonstrate an unwavering adherence to quality and safety
