About George Junior Republic: Founded in 1909, George Junior Republic is dedicated to helping at-risk youth become successful, well-adjusted adults, capable of achieving a higher degree of citizenship and a better understanding of his responsibility to society, family and self. Position Overview: Master's level psychotherapist is needed to provide treatment in a unit for 11 youth and supervise the staff of 7-10 workers on the campus of George Junior Republic. This position provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy for youth within the residential setting and interfaces with placing agencies and managed care companies. This is a full-time position with benefits and works a Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Requirements: Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work with a focus on therapy and supervisory experience.
