Wilbarger General Hospital, Vernon, TX has an opportunity for a PRN Therapist-LCSW, LMSW or LPC for the Out Patient Alternatives Program. The Therapist will develop effective treatment schedules, as well as patient care plans and goals. The ideal candidate will exhibit advanced skills in client diagnostics, treatment, and discharge planning. J ob Summary : Responsible for the overall development and implementation of the Alternatives Program, effective treatment schedules, as well as patient care plans and goals. Exhibits advanced skills in client diagnostics, treatment, and discharge planning. Also provides management of the program in Director's absence. Job Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related area. Personal Job-Related Skills: Assistant management abilities and effective oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency with fast, accurate typing skills. Licensure, Registry or Certification: LCSW, LMSW or LPC. Current Texas license required. BLS required. CPI required. Experience: Prior work experience: One year experience working with senior adultsin a psychiatric setting with direct patient contact preferred. Technical Training: Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require moderate to heavy physical activity. Extended periods of standing and walking.
