Therapeutic Foster Care Coordinator

In search of a full-time, Qualified Professional to work with our foster care program. This position o versees all services provided to individuals and their families, monitors quality of care delivered and ensures foster parents comply with contractual terms. The position is full time, salaried position with benefits and mileage reimbursement. This position requires travel, on-call duties and a flexible schedule (afternoons, evenings and weekends). Candidate must be willing to work and travel throughout the coverage area of Sampson, Duplin, Lenoir, & Craven Counties. Education/experience/licensure requirements: Must meet the North Carolina state mandated requirements of a Qualified Professional Minimum of Bachelor's Degree required, human services field preferred 2 Years full time documented child mental health experience post human services degree OR 4 years full time documented child mental health experience post non-human services degree Assesses referred clients and coordinates the development and implementation of a service plan. Maintains current and complete client and staff reporting records (in some instances Foster Parent records). Completes home visits with the foster parents Assists with pre-service and in-service training to staff. May assist in Foster Parent training, planning and development. Coordination and oversight of initial and ongoing assessment activities. Assistance with licensing and re-licensing of foster homes. Other requirements: Access to reliable transportation adhering to all NC Division of Motor Vehicle laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver's license) Attendance at weekly team meetings Home office is in Raleigh with travel throughout Sampson, Duplin, Lenoir & Craven Counties .
