The RoleWe are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering medical cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. If you have at least 1 year of professional driving experience and a positive, can-do attitude, keep reading!ResponsibilitiesDriving Responsibilities: Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the dayInterpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabisWorking knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc)Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filingMaintaining positive professional relationships with dispensary staffTimely and effective communication when issues arise while making deliveries Dispatcher Responsibilities: Communicate with drivers/ customers regarding order accuracyEnsure appropriate manifest process and log per state guidanceAbility to edit/cancel orders within the dispatching systemMake decisions on when to Single and/or Batch orders dependent on volume Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities: Assist patients in a customer-facing, intimate retail environmentUtilize product and consumption-method knowledge to successfully recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient's specific needsEnsure sales floor is properly stocked and presence of the store is well maintainedOwn responsibility for remaining up-to-date with product knowledgeOther duties as assigned Qualifications 1+ years of professional driving experienceDemonstrated initiative and proactive attitude, as well as independent judgmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employeesEmployee must be able to follow instructions as directed and incorporate constructive criticism from managers Additional Requirements Must be 21 years or olderMust pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryA minimum three years with a state issued driver's license Working Conditions Ability to work a 12-hour day when neededRole includes sitting, standing, or walking for prolonged periods of time, as well as stooping, sitting, bending over and/or crouchingWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motionsPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions New York Pay Range$19-$19 USD
