The role:The Maintenance Leader (also known as Reliability Leader internally) is responsible for supporting day to day plant packaging operations to ensure the reliability, operation and maintainability of existing and new equipment installations in the manufacturing environment. The Reliability Leader works to identify, oversee and mitigate asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant operations.The role also directly supervises 1st shift maintenance technicians.What you will do: Ensure equipment servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing are maintained and repairs are completed safely and in a timely mannerManage 1st shift Craft Technician teamMonitor & evaluate equipment performance trends to decrease mechanical/electrical failures and improve preventative upkeep of equipmentAnalyze equipment information & diagnostic testing results to solve problems and determine and execute countermeasures What you will need: Minimum of Associates degree or Trade School/Certification preferred in Mechanical/Electrical/Maintenance disciplineDemonstrated knowledge of packaging and assembly equipment, e.g. high speed fillers, case erectors, bottle loaders and orienters, cappers, pump placers, check weighers, cartoners, palletizers, etc.Proven successful leadership and managerial skillsMinimum 5 years of packaging equipment and operations experience in consumer products, pharmaceutical or food/beverage industryHigh mechanical and electrical competencyProven record of effective problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level A reasonable salary range is: $75,000 - $100,000.
