The Business Development Manager is responsible for marketing products and services to new and existing relationships with the Bank, developing marketing plans, maintaining pipeline of clients, and visiting existing and targeted businesses. QUALIFICATIONS:Education and/or experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum seven years of experience in banking, lending, and/or marketing/sales required. Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the deposit operation and lending functions.Good understanding of all required documents needed for opening new accounts.Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.General knowledge of lending and deposit regulations and laws.Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:Communication skills:Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints. Reasoning Skills:Good analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills:Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
