Could you be the full-time onsite Testing and Commissioning Manager in Plattsburgh, NY, US we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your multifaceted expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and skilled teammates. You'll ensure that our testing protocols meet the highest standards, contributing to the safety and reliability of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including product engineering, manufacturing, and industrial functions), manage the testing workshop's planning and workload, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Managing on a day-to-day basis the planning and workload in the testing workshop, Ensuring the tests are carried out according to the Testing procedure and the results properly recorded, Reviewing and continuously improving the operational activities to ensure productivity targets are met, Consolidating and well documenting Test Reports, Regularly consolidating and communicating on the project KPI’s, Cascading the information to Testing Teams All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, 4 years of experience or understanding of Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within process industry, railways or factory automation, Knowledge of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (in particular earthing & bonding, cabling, protection, and instrumentation), Strong leadership and a result-driven mindset, Ability for problem-solving and efficient decision-making in a complex environment, Commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) standards and practices, Team spirit approach and good communication skills Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
