Description:
An education startup is looking for part time help with a test marketing campaign to pilot a summer program for high school students. The work involves some meticulous online research, high quality copy writing, outbound communication with some schools and parent groups, several phone calls, and possible a visit or two to schools. The job could expand and could also lead to a position during the summer depending on performance and other factors. We're not necessarily looking for someone with prior marketing experience. The ideal candidate would be a responsible, mature and professional adult with some prior job experience in some capacity, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and a talent for unstructured communication with prospective customers. We're looking someone with very good tele-commuting sensibilities since this will be a tele-commuting position with modest face-to-face contact with other members of our Palo Alto team. Time commitment will vary but could be as little as a few hours a week. Pay will range from $20/hr to $40/hr depending on experience and skill levels.
