One File, a Harris Computer company, are looking to recruit an experienced Test Analyst on a permanent, full-time basis, who can help ensure that our software is delivered at the highest level of quality and reliability our customers deserve and expect. The position will be performed on a hybrid basis, working 1 to 2 days a week from our central office in Manchester City Centre. The Test Analyst will be an integral part of a development team, liaising with Software Developers and Product Management to ensure that our software meets specific functional and technical requirements and able to be delivered to a strict release cycle. You will have a passion for quality, possess excellent analytical skills and enjoy working closely within a team to ensure our product is delivered on time and free of flaws. In performing this position, your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): Analysing software requirements and technical specifications. Creating and documenting the appropriate test to be carried out. Creating and staging appropriate test data. Creates test cases including detailed expected results. Executing complex functional, application and regression tests. Recording and documenting results including anomalies and issues. Liaising with the software development team to ensure any issues are understood, recorded and resolved appropriately. Provides timely status reports. What we are seeking: Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester. Experience in project management and QA methodology. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing. Experience with writing clear and concise test plans. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio (preferable) Familiarity with software version control platforms i. e. Github. Experience in writing, maintaining and running automated test suites.
