Temporary Accommodation Placement and Property Officer Oxford, UK Temporary Part Time – 22.5 Hours Hybrid We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Temporary Accommodation Placement and Property Officer to join our team based in Oxford. This is a part time position with hybrid working. This role is a temporary contract with an initial period of 2 months. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and will have a positive attitude and be willing to new ways of working. Please note a full enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role, as well as a full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle. Requirements Previous experience in within a housing or homelessness role Good knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Housing Act and the Homelessness Reduction Act Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience managing tenancies or property licences Ability to deliver sensitive and compassionate customer serviced to people experiencing homelessness Good awareness of risk backssment and support planning, and awareness of safeguarding Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle Full enhanced DBS required Role Expectations Respond to requests for emergency and planned placements, signing up new clients, recognising shifting priorities, all within a fast paced customer focused environment Effectively manage Temporary Accommodation, including responsibility for property management and maintenance, reporting any property condition or health and safety concerns, managing breaches of licence including rent arrears, void turn around and prompt and efficient placements Respond to requests for emergency and planned placements, signing up new clients, recognising.
