Technician II Fargo, ND - Full Time Productive Resources ( www.productiveresources.com ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Fargo, North Dakota. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that system performance meets product specifications. Support assigned product groups in product validation and verification process as associated with production requirements. Provide problem identification and resolution, corrective action and tracking and reliability analysis. Provide input on test procedures to engineers and support personnel as required. This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. Duties: Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction. Document and maintain records relating to work performed. Inform supervisor of process or design problems and assist in the corrective action. Conduct manual test of electronic circuits and PCBs according to engineering instructions. Communicate with others in a professional and effective manner. Update test documentation when required for prototype products. Provide training to less experienced technicians when required. Perform other associated tasks as required from their supervisor and manager. Requirements: Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments and vendors . Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing. Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause. Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. Ability to read basic engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams. Ability to comprehend product/process component datasheets. Ability to assemble and disassemble products. Ability to maintain lab equipment. Ability to perform basic mechanical work. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Minimum one year of related experience S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills: Three or more years of related experience As a condition of employment consideration, Productive Resources conducts pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.
