As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.As the Technical Program Manager, you will partner with software engineers, PMs, and team leads across Cloud Compute ML Services, Research and Core ML teams to plan, execute and launch technical programs to deliver advanced GPU and TPU systems/solutions to support our goal of achieving ML hardware leadership and solutions for a reliable, highly performant, AI pod-as-a-service. You will interact with cloud engineering and product teams to review new product needs, track features and dependencies under development, and drive innovation at Google scale. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. Experience with ML frameworks. Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Experience managing projects on software engineering teams and/or product management. Experience working with software and hardware teams, particularly in high performance compute or ML accelerators.Track record of successfully delivering complex software products, and in-depth knowledge of project management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, discussing agreements, and organizational skills. Responsibilities Lead innovation and execution of mission-critical projects, working closely with product teams to understand customer requirements and help relay this information to engineering teams to manage, design, plan, develop, and launch technical projects or programs. Collaborate with engineering teams to define, design, and implement solutions to improve AI/ML workload performance. Be the customer interface for the team, interacting with client teams and reviewing new product requirements. Track features and dependencies under development for adoption of new technologies and deployment systems. Enable cross-functional collaboration across and within the organization. Be the advocate of the team and bring better visibility of important efforts. Manage strategic programs and tactical day-to-day projects.
