Position Overview As a Technical Program Manager/Agile Coach, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex software projects, ensuring the successful implementation of short and long-term goals. You will be an expert in full life cycle agile program and product management, portfolio management, and governance. You will also be responsible for managing cross-functional enterprise product and R&D initiatives and bringing order from chaos. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional business and software development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions. You will be a trusted advisor and consultant, utilizing your in-depth industry, business, and/or technical knowledge and expertise to lead and deliver capabilities and products that are key to the company's success. Your creativity, communication skills, and ability to influence business and technical leaders will be key in driving value to the business and technology. Specific Roles & Responsibilities: Drive transformation and delivery at scale and at pace Own multiple related projects across larger initiatives, tracking projects performance to ensure successful implementation of short and long term goals Oversee Scrum Masters and ensure all project tracking activities are updated regularly, follow standard patterns, and report up to the Senior Leadership Team Work with Product Managers and Engineering managers to develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules Run the full life cycle of Agile Program and Product Management Act as a Scrum Master for a Product Scrum Team Manage and ensure offshore and onshore vendors produce quality deliverables against set roadmaps commitments Cross-team and cross-department Project Management activities Run agile inceptions and or other types of planning activities to define scope, resources required, and capture anticipated timeline and level of effort for large complex multi-department programs Clarify, expedite and drive commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability Apply technical chops to influence outcomes and ensure decisions lead to valuable results Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit Qualifications: 8+ years of industry experience leading initiatives as an IT Program Manager or Director within a technology environment Progressive record of successful delivery of complex software systems or services Excellent communication skills and ability to influence business and technical leaders Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of agile software development practices and experience implementing SaaS applications A passion for mentorship and team-building Why Teaching Strategies At Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.
