Compeer Financial is seeking collaborative, innovative and dynamic professionals to be a part of our Top Workplace culture!Tell me more about this opportunity.Position Overview: This position serves as a technical contact in matters related to computer hardware, software and operations that align with the organization's hybrid cloud strategy. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, security and administration of computer systems, networks and applications in coordination with other team members. Maintains, installs and supports approved software and provides support and training to Business Technology team members.Essential Functions: * Proactively maintains and upgrades system infrastructure, servers and other business technology systems and software, either on-premise or cloud-based. * Implements technology solutions to enhance systems availability, security, and provides enhancements to operations. * Performs system maintenance during scheduled maintenance windows, as needed. Implements approved RFC's (Request for Change) and collaborates with other BT team members on deployment activities with the objective of reducing downtime, increasing performance, and optimizing business functions. * Is responsible for responding to and resolving team member issues escalated via the Service Desk incident process. * Monitors ServiceNOW ticket queues for open and unassigned incidents so that they may be worked to resolution.Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. * Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with multi-platform enterprise environments, including cloud solutions. * Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit. * Experience in Microsoft technologies including SharePoint Online, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, SCCM, InTune and Windows Server operating systems. * Advanced knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts for appropriate user access and using the Okta platform for SSO and MFA. * Foundational knowledge with system hardware architectures such as Storage Area Networks, Hyperconverged Infrastructure and Unified Computing concepts. * Knowledge with scripting languages such as PowerShell, as well as a familiarity with infrastructure automation tasks for optimization. * Foundational knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, such as routers, switches, MPLS. * Understanding of the leading cloud infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). * Ability to work independently under minimal supervision. * Ability to translate highly technical information into non-technical terms. * Ability to create and maintain technical documentation of complex systems. * Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. * Strong problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills. * Valid driver's license.Who is Compeer Financial?Compeer Financial exists to champion the hopes and dreams of rural America.
