Technical Coordinator

Description:
The Technical Coordinator role focuses on production for weekend services while providing technical support for various events and assisting in equipment/stage changes and installations within the E91 church complex. Essential Functions Attend all necessary rehearsals, services, and events to prepare and implement production elements. Perform maintenance and service systems throughout the church under the direction of the Creative Arts Pastor. Train volunteers to operate equipment for weekend services. Provide technical support for weddings, funerals, conferences, and other "off-hours" events. Participate in equipment/stage changes and system installations as required. Collaborate with leadership in the department budgeting process and equipment selection. Assist in overseeing the planning and debriefing of weekend services and events. Attend staff planning sessions and other relevant meetings/events as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Creative Arts Pastor. Must be able to lift and move equipment over 50 pounds. Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a high school diploma or GED and additional technical training in video, sound, and/or lighting production for events. At least three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a similar technical environment is preferred. Previous Team Leader or similar supervisory experience preferred.
