Chatham UMC is looking for a part-time Tech-Media Director. The director s primary responsibilities are: to prepare for and oversee worship media (sound and screen) on Sunday mornings and other occasional services (with the assistance of a volunteer worship tech team); maintain the Chathamumc.net website and email list; and, produce the monthly and weekly church newsletters. Currently Chatham UMC uses the following programs, equipment and apps related to this position: WordPress (website) Constant Contact (email) ProPresenter (worship media) Black Magic (worship media) Razoo (online giving app) The Tech-Media Director position is understood as part-time, and hourly. We anticipate the Tech-Media Director investing up to 20 hours per week in this position, including Sunday mornings (worship) and special services such as seasonal services, funerals, and weddings. Starting wage shall be $10/hour. Personal characteristics, traits or qualities valuable for an employee working in this position include: strong organizational skills, attention to detail, teachability, high integrity, ability to work within a team, positive attitude and leadership skills.
