We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School English Language Arts Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate students in grades 6-8 to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for literature and language.Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging English Language Arts curriculum and lesson plans that meet state and national standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary teaching methods and technologies. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives. Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching license in English Language Arts or willingness to attain licensure before the start date. Prior teaching experience in middle school English Language Arts is preferred but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to professional growth and development. Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
