Center Academy will teach the basic skills of reading, spelling, and mathematics, and assist students to work to their full potential. Center Academy will remediate specific learning disabilities and other neuropsychological weaknesses, and at the same time teach compensatory strategies so that students can be successful as adults. Center Academy will develop staff loyalty by ensuring that all staff members, part-time and full-time, understand the significance of their work and share the goals and values of the school. Center Academy will protect its unique values and share those values with students and parents. Center Academy has been in the business of Education for 50+ years. We are a private school located in Pinellas Park, FL , and have an immediate opening for a P/T Teacher’s Assistant. We are looking for someone with experience in the field of education, specifically with middle/high school age students. A background working with LD/ADHD/ASD is preferred. We require AA/AS degree or higher, or someone working on an Education degree. Primary responsibilities include supervision of students, grading of papers and other duties as assigned by the teacher. Work with professionals who truly care about each individual student! Hourly pay $11-13 per hour @ 27.5 hours per week. We follow the Pinellas County school district calendar.
