This role can work from any of our four locations (Hoover, downtown Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville) and/or has the remote-work option offered to all our professionals. Responsibilities: Supervisor level professionals prepare complex tax returns (corporate, individual, and partnerships) and in some engagements review returns for our clients. This role will also include leadership of junior level staff on the engagement team, which could mean coaching and mentoring or hands-on training. Relationships are a critical cornerstone at BMSS, this role will be responsible for creating and cultivating relationships internally among the team and externally with the client. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing or reviewing business and/or personal tax returns, preferable with exposure to a variety of industries • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university • CPA strongly desired • MBA or MAcc a plus • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
