A nationally-recognized and award-winning accounting firm is recruiting a talented Tax Manager to join their growing team. Reports to: Senior Tax Manager Key responsibilities: Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate) Preparing complex business income tax returns Tax consulting and projections Assuming client service responsibility Developing staff members Manage a team of 6. Key experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred Current CPA license required 4-7 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers Exceptional Excel skills Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus Consultative approach and client service oriented Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written) Self-directed and autonomous.
