promotes Central Market culture in all interactionsUses best practices, Division-preferred methods, and Central Market Standard Operating Procedures to achieve training objectivesWorks with Store leadership to provide accurate, timely, and candid feedback about Partner strengths and training developmental needsCommunicates Partner (employees/associate) concerns to Store leadership and HR Manager when appropriatePromotes company values and competenciesFosters teamwork and collaborationCollaborates with store Administrative staff and Leaders to offer job fairs to identify the best talent for Central MarketTakes on additional responsibilities as neededTraining:Designs, develops, delivers, and coaches on training for existing and new hourly and management PartnersManages, supports, and facilitates training plans and programs for Partners at various levels of career developmentCreates and implements on-the-job training for key Store areasDesigns and develops learning resources in a variety of formats and modalities (e.g., print, graphics, audio, video, eLearning, job aids) to support curriculum offeringsProvides training, support, and assistance in using the learning management system (LMS), interactive video, and other distance learning modalities for courseworkSupports and assists in development of complete turnkey instructional and coursework solutions; manages related projectsCreates realistic goals, engaging learning activities, and compelling course content to enhance knowledge retention and transferProvides individual and group instruction, demonstrations, and Store / department walks or overviewsApplies understanding of learning styles and adjusts delivery to meet training objectivesCollaborates with CM Division Talent Leader to ensure training objectives, assignments, and activities are aligned with Division goals and Central Market cultureProvides feedback to CM Division Talent Leader on curriculum effectiveness; recommends changes to facilitate learning and retentionMaintains content integrity by ensuring training curriculum, materials, and resources are current and consistent and reflect Central Market culture and brand standardsImplements all training-related processes, including completion documentation, assessments, evaluations, and determination of actionable outcomesMonitors progress, provides status reports, and tracks completion and impact of learning assignments for all PartnersUnderstands, connects, and tracks ROI on training effortsProject Management:Coordinates / leads execution of internal projects; manages / documents all aspects of assigned talent development projects Works with experts to identify and determine learning needs for content developmentCollaborates with Division Leaders and stakeholders to interpret data and recommend appropriate actions for design development workCreates and implements communication plans related to project work and change managementPrioritizes and manages multiple, concurrent development effortsApplies a sense of urgency to drive expedient completion of projectsWhat is your background?Bachelor's degree (preferred)3+ years of experience in training-instructional design and delivery / facilitation experience with groups of all sizes3+ years of experience developing talent or supervisory skills1+ years of experience as a department manager (preferred)Experience in instructional design (preferred, a portfolio of relevant samples is a plus)Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Central Market Talent Development Leader?Understanding of learning styles and how to adjust delivery to meet training objectivesAdvanced verbal / written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organization skillsBilingual skills (English - Spanish) (preferred)MS Office and instructional design (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite) skills (preferred)Ability to conduct training for all group sizes (one on one to large groups)Ability to influence all levels of managementAbility to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks;
