Apply by: March 5, 2024 Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Recruitment Marketing Specialist is a position working under the Administration division in close collaboration with the Communications & Outreach department. They will design, coordinate, and implement a recruitment strategy that will help NYSTRS to find and attract quality candidates through search, social, mobile, and email. Working with the Communications & Outreach department, this position will help Human Resources develop our brand awareness, reputation management, social engagement, and lead generation. They will also work closely with department management, HR management, and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team to successfully execute both short and long-term recruitment marketing priorities. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree; and 3 years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree (JD, Master's Degree, etc) may substitute for 1 year of relevant professional experience. Previous working experience preferably at least 2 years as a Recruitment Marketing Specialist or in brand development with experience in recruitment; candidates with previous working experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, Marketing, or Advertising are also welcome to apply Preferred Qualifications MA degree in Human Resources, Marketing, PR, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a similar relevant field In-depth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods Hands-on experience with recruitment marketing software and/or application tracking systems like Clear Company, Workday, Handshake, etc. Experience creating graphic designs for various recruitment materials using Canva, Adobe Express or Photoshop Proven knowledge of building and executing social media strategies Outstanding organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload and adjust accordingly Excellent communications, interpersonal skills, and customer service experience Impeccable written, verbal, and presentation skills, with sharp attention to detail, specifically for content creation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Creative thinker and proactive problem solver Demonstrated experience working in a team environment Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and the ability to learn quickly Experience with data analytic and visualization tools, like MS Excel, Qualtrics, and Jamovi Job Duties A successful candidate will be responsible for: Learn the candidate experience and capture this through various marketing channels Track, measure, and report on campaign results Create strategies for building a talent network/talent community with key departments and alongside the Sourcing Lead - specific emphasis on developing a diversity/campus/veteran recruiting strategy Create an employee and campus ambassador program and an employee referral program Monitor NYSTRS employer pages on web-based platforms and execute activities for engaging reviewers Plan of recruiting events Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus or virtual recruiting events Generate monthly updates for company's leadership about upcoming recruitment marketing initiatives Create monthly reports on key recruitment marketing metrics Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of the company's hiring needs and organizational goals Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Recruitment staff to develop creative ways for addressing recruitment challenges Suggest new ideas for the HR department to improve candidate experience and engagement Research marketing and advertising trends related to hiring within pension funds In partnership with Communications & Outreach, the candidate will: Design a recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants Create recruitment media campaigns and newsletters Update and maintain the NYSTRS career site and suggest improvements in partnership with the Communications & Outreach department Identify the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching a specified target audience Make and curate content specific to the recruiting strategy Produce content to support the implementation, coordination, and maintenance of NYSTRS's company page on Handshake Premium and LinkedIn Design recruiting events Keep abreast of new trends in social media channels Other Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the recruitment team on servicing open requisitions, including scheduling candidate interviews, following up with search committees, and processing and completing background checks Salary Grade This position is a Grade 18 Salary Range If hired prior to April 1, 2015: $68,249 to $89,050If hired after April 1, 2015: $68,249 to $85,234Please note: 2024-2025 Salary schedules will be shared as soon as they are available.
