It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.SUMMARYDIGITALiBiz, LLC, is providing engineering and operational support with the U.S. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic to support the National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Polar Programs. The work on this contract supports ongoing efforts required for the Aviation and Polar Programs mission at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and the Remote Operations Facility in Charleston, SC.The Systems Maintenance Administrative Assistant will report to the NIWC Atlantic Polar Programs Systems and Maintenance Engineering team and work with the project teams to provide support in the administration of project documentation, plans, reporting, coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information. Supports the Systems and Maintenance Engineering team in achieving successful project outcomes. They will collaborate with entire management team to reach organizational and departmental goals.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to obtain a T1 government security clearance for access to Joint Base Charleston facilities, equipment and property.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Tracks, analyzes program and project data, and report program/project data.Compiles and offers routine reports on program operations to program management.Determines opportunities to streamline current processes.Supports development of processes and procedures.Adheres to project plans and standard operating procedures.Audits program activity on contract and data integrity.Perform various administrative support duties to include taking minutes during meetings.Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.OTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAbility to work as a team member and meet deadlines with accuracy.Highly organized and possess strong administrative skills.Self-directed, high degree of personal initiative.Proficient in standard Office software tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Teams).LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
