Job Title: Systems Integration, Validation, Verification and Qualification Engineer Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire - Extensive UK and International Travel Salary: £35,000-£55,000Insignis Talent have partnered with a market leading, multi-national Maritime Defence company, who are seeking a Systems Integration, Validation, Verification and Qualification IVVQ Engineer to join their team. This is the opportunity to join a company at an exciting time in their growth, as they look to implement a new team, at a new facility, in Portsmouth, Hampshire. You will be given the chance to work on cutting edge systems, for a number of Surface Ships platforms. The role will involve extensive travel UK and international travel, contributing to all aspects of system integration and testing, including writing test specifications, conducting testing, and reporting defects. Responsibilities: Writing and executing test specifications, including test plans and test strategy documents Interfacing with the client to gain approval of test specifications and hosting acceptance testing activities Investigating problems in the field or with the systems documentation Developing, implementing and maintaining tools relevant to the Systems IVVQ Engineering function Providing detailed input to specific project programs and working with project planners Representing System IVVQ Engineering at formal Design Reviews Undertaking Cost Reviews as part of a Bid team Keeping abreast of technical developments both within and outside of the company Supporting the IVVQ Manager during gate reviews Providing status reports to the Lead IVVQ Engineer Requirements: Proven experience in a Systems IVVQ Engineering environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels Ability to work under pressure Sound ability to use System IVVQ Engineering tools Working knowledge of project plans Knowledge of Engineering Safety Management Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
