Job Summary: Translates the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs forcomplex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensureobjectives have been met. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: – Establishes requirements meetings and design programs for systems, applications or process designprojects.– Completes all phases of moderately complex systems integration design projects.– Works on analyzing best approach to solving systems, applications or process design problems(innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements.– Provides direction for design activities and presenting to clients.– May Lead presentation of solutions to customers and internal audiences. Takes part in presentationsto influence customers and market in pre-tender phase.– Assists in negotiations with customers in pre sales phase.– Works on negotiation process with third party suppliers and in supplier selection process.– Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.– Receives some instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
