Volt is immediately hiring Senior Systems Engineer in Aurora, CO.As Senior Systems Engineer, you will: * Perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, use case development, system and operational requirements, interface architecture and ConOps, and requirement/system validation. * Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/ development, interfacing with personnel from other organizations. * Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software teams and test personnel. * Attend technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the maintenance of his/her project. * Define external and internal interfaces. * Provide document review and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues. * Support ECP efforts as required. * Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology. * Interacting with customers and end-users * Providing and briefing status to program management and customersThis is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to Hire opportunity.The Ideal candidate will have:Basic Qualifications: * Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. * Experience with generating DoDAF architecture views with Cameo. * Experience with Agile or DevOps development. * Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with systems engineering principles and activities on a large government software development contract. * Experience being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams. * Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications. * Experience in the RF domain. * Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration.
