Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Survey Programmer to join our growing team supporting a federal Surveys Program located in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Senior Survey Programmer will provide ongoing support to technical leadership and provide inputs to the design of complex survey design, sampling procedures, variance estimation, compound weights, simulation studies, and statistical methods for analyses of sample survey data with a range of complex designs. Additional expertise is sought with expertise in evaluating data quality from censuses and sample surveys in the domains of sampling and measurement error and the effect of data processing and statistical disclosure methods on data quality. Additional Responsibilities: U s e s programming such as Python, Java, C, and HTML. Pl a ns a nd e v a l u a t e s the use of t ec hnol og y , in c luding d a t a b a se systems. Position Requirements: Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in programming surveys. Demonstrative experience designing customized surveys using relevant coding software (Python, Java, C, HTML, etc.) Experience with database/query languages MS SQL 2019/2012, NHibernate. Experience with development environments: Visual Studio, .NET 2019, JSON, REST APIs, Vue.js, Angular JS. Experience with Web Servers: IIS 10.0/8/7/6.0 Experience with SourceSafe Tools: GitHub, Subversion Experience with Jira and SharePoint Experience with SQL Documentor Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
