Surgical Technologist - First Assist (FULL TIME)

** $10K SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE W/2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE ** ** $60K STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT/TUITION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE ** **Certified First Assist will be paid a $5.00/hr premium in addition to their base rate of pay. Uncertified First Assist will earn an additional $2.50/hr.** Under direct supervision, assists surgical team before, during, and after surgery. Provides expert support, assistance and maintenance of instruments and equipment. Regulatory Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong experience with minimally invasive, general, ENT, orthopedics, vascular and podiatric specialties including video, orthopedic and all other needed equipment to do the above surgeries. 2 years operating room experience preferred. BLS Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred. Current state Surgical Technologist Licensure, within state of Colorado. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Strong communication skills. ** All Southwest Health System positions are subject to a Post Offer-Pre Work Screen. This physical exam will determine the capability of the applicant to perform the essential functions. ** ** If you are selected for this position, prior to appointment, you may be subject to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use. ** ** THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS.
