Surgical Tech - L&D - PRN

Description:
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. -Performs assigned Unit Secretary and Nurse Tech duties in the Women's Services area.Reports to: Director Women's Services/Labor & DeliveryFLSA: -Non-exempt -Minimum Education Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Surgical Technician) - Preferred - -Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required. - -Required Skills Certifications: BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required to be current upon hire. - -Required Skills Licenses: Certification is required for experienced surgical technologist upon hire unless qualifications are met under the TCA Section 68-57-102 grandfather clause effective 7/1/2006.
