The successful candidate will have experience as a judicial clerk, preferably at a federal or state appellate court, along with a completed JD from an accredited law school and outstanding academic credentials. Duties:Conduct thorough legal research on intricate appellate issues.Prepare well-crafted appellate briefs, motions, and legal documents.Participate in appellate court proceedings, including oral arguments.Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to strategize cases.Assist in managing cases, including maintaining files and deadlines.Stay informed about developments in appellate law and procedures. Requirements:Completed Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Experience as a judicial clerk, ideally at a federal or state appellate court.Exceptional academic credentials demonstrating excellence in legal studies.Strong legal research and writing skills.Proficient oral communication skills for effective advocacy.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Admission to the Oregon State Bar (or willingness to become admitted). Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Oregon State Bar. Skills:Excellent legal research abilities.Superb writing skills with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.Ability to analyze complex legal issues.Proficiency in oral communication for court appearances.Familiarity with appellate court procedures and rules.
