Support Worker Location: Motherwell, Bellshill and Wishaw Salary: A GBP 12 per hour Are you an experienced Support Worker, or someone looking to embark on this rewarding career? The Role You would be helping people living with mental health needs and physical disabilities. Your work, which would be varied and can be challenging but highly rewarding, would ensure the outcome: based support plans designed to meet each persons needs are delivered. You could be assisting with clinical and health care needs, assisting with personal care, meeting the explicit range of competencies as set out by health partners and undertaking specialist training, as required, to be suitably skilled. Additional Information 24: hour sleepovers: Female only applicants are required for part of the service. All other shift patterns: No particular gender requirements. Gender is considered to be a Genuine Occupational Requirement : Equality Act 2010. Skills and Experience If you do not have a SVQ 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), the organisation would ask for your commitment to undertake a SVQ and to become registered.
