Its headquarters are in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is based in Owatonna, Minnesota at the company’s manufacturing facility. DESCRIPTION The Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading and developing a growing supply chain team that ensures all supply chain programs, practices and systems are effective, sustainable, scalable, and impactful. This leader works relentlessly to improve efficiency as speed, quality, cost, and customer experience are all significantly impacted by supply chain performance. This is a critical role within the organization as the company is committed to creating value for its customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Operations and Strategy Executes effectively on RISE’s current Supply Chain operations while assessing existing and desired functions to design and implement a supply chain that drives continuous improvement. Partners cross-functionally to implement and operate systems that improve business processes and outcomes. Builds business cases that support strategic decision making and makes recommendations to optimize the application of the strategic sourcing process. Define and direct sourcing initiatives in alignment with strategic plans and supply chain strategies. Establishes strong and effective relationships with key suppliers (existing and new) to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets are met. Develops sustainable, long-term strategies to achieve business objectives for the Supply Chain function. Establishes sourcing and supply chain strategies with a process- excellence focus. Leads People Builds and maintains high performing teams. Leads the work of other managers and analysts. Creates a culture of collaboration throughout the organization. Balances self-assurance and humility. Creates synergies and motivates others. Promotes teamwork and collaboration. Drives Business Results Commercial modular industry savvy. Travel This role requires less than 10% travel to the Minneapolis metro and surrounding areas ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Demonstrated track record of success. Proven ability to analyze, develop and oversee supply chain programs in alignment with an organization’s long-term goals and strategy. Strong leadership skills. Team oriented work style. Strategic thinking. Ability to influence with, or without, authority. Collaborative by nature. Healthy “player/coach” approach. Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field. Graduate degree is a plus. STRONGLY PREFERRED Complex or large-scale manufacturing experience.
