AdvancePierre Foods is a leading supplier of convenience food to the foodservice, school, retail, club, vending and convenience store market. We are seeking a Supply Chain/Demand Planner to join our growing team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a non-management position, but offers a great deal of advancement opportunities. We are seeking individuals who can excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment while coordinating the development and orchestration of monthly sales and operation planning. This includes driving demand and supply feedback, analyzing demand signals driving product decisions, and identifying problems and seeking resolution related to demand issues. If you like a challenge, this position works with 800 SKUs and collaborates with Sales and Marketing to monitor forecasts and perform trend analysis while facilitating introductions, migrations and end-of-life activities for new and existing products. This role is also responsible for developing root cause analysis and executing countermeasures to improve processes and performance. If you have five years of supply chain planning experience with advanced forecasting skills and the ability to manage a high volume of SKUs, this could be the job for you! We are seeking professionals with CPG experience (a food service background is a plus), detailed understanding of supply/demand, expertise in cost control and productivity improvement, and strong computer skills in Excel (with ERP system knowledge). APICS certification and/or Six Sigma training is a plus. Some travel will be required.
