Supervisor Neurospecialty Clinic (Rn) - Neuro Ancillary Admin

Salary Range: $53.1200 - $81.6700 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provides leadership in the Neuro Specialty Clinic including the areas of scheduling, registration, treatment authorization, documentation, coding, charge entry, billing, collections, and denial processes. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and legal entities. Assists the Department Manager and Director in development of the department operational and capital budget. Manages all IT Systems within the clinic. Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement a performance improvement plan. Oversees quality management and performance improvement within the department. Assumes responsibility for orientation and supervision of non-clinical and clinical personnel. Displays and practices a workstyle that reflects the mission, vision and values of the organization. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a registered nurse required. Supervisor experience in a hospital environment preferred. BSN is preferred. Skills or Other Qualifications Required: Critical thinking, ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions. Ability to communicate effectively on the patient’s behalf and works well 1:1 and in a team to obtain better than expected outcomes. Possesses a knowledge of the business of healthcare along the continuum of care, clinical decision support data analysis/synthesis, and quality improvement, regulatory and legislative issues. Self-directed individual with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and maintain a high level of work quality. Proven ability to interface with all customer levels (physicians, Organizational staff, insurance companies, patients and family members) Decisive and capable of exercising good judgment under pressure. Skills or other Qualifications Preferred: Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus healthcare database systems. License Required Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the California Board of registered Nursing.
