A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SUMMER INTERN-JOB TRAINING SPECIALIST As a Summer Intern you will work in the Summer Youth Work Experience Programs with students ages 16-22 at an employer within the community. The Summer Intern will work with up to 4 participants at one site and will assist the youth with learning basic work skills and ensure that all participants work safely. Hours are based on the job assignment, but will occur M-F between 8-5, at an average of 25 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SUMMER INTERN-JOB TRAINING SPECIALIST Knowledge of different disabilities, learning styles and/or social services Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Are you self-motivated but also a team player? Are you able to work efficiently with an awareness of what is going on around you? Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you reliable? Do you have a positive attitude and take pride in your work? If so, then you might just be perfect for this position!
