Swank Construction Company is looking for a Summer Intern for the Milling/Saw/Seal Division who is interested in putting their education to the test in a real business environment. The ideal intern should be: Detail Orientated Reliable Organized Self-Motivated Team Orientated About the Opportunity Swank's milling division operates a large fleet of Milling Machines performing work as a subcontractor for contractors across a variety of states. Our heavy highway equipment demolishes and removes asphalt and concrete in preparation for new roads to be placed. Since 1984, Swank's Saw/Seal Division has been a leader in concrete cutting, concrete joint rehabilitation, sawing and sealing of asphalt overlays, maintenance sealing of airports and highways, green sawing and new construction. Swank uses its vast knowledge and experience of concrete sawing and sealing to complete jobs safely, on time and on budget. Having the right people and equipment allows us to provide quality workmanship and produce satisfied customers. The intern will be asked to: Assist the Milling/Saw/Seal team with estimating projects. Develop take offs. Prepare plans. Learn and perform all aspects of Swanks milling/saw/seal estimating processes and procedures. Work closely with department managers to learn different aspects of Swank, which include our products, sales, and customer relations. Assist with other daily tasks as assigned.
