Camp Shane a co-ed weight loss-fitness camp located in Arizona seeks head staff for the summer of 2013. Available positions include Boys & Girls Head Counselor, Fitness Director, Sports Director, Guidance Counselor, CBT coach. Head Counselor: we seek a mature individual with a minimum of 5 + years experience in a related field, who will be responsible for supervising staff and campers, overseeing all programming and scheduling, managing interpersonal relationships, and creating and running events. Must possesses strong leadership, management, organizational abilities and able to supervise a group of college-age staff and children. Cognitive Behavior Coach: we are looking for someone with a Bachelor s degree or greater in psychology or social work with experience in CBT preferred. Our cognitive behavior coach has the option to work 2 days a week or work the whole summer as a counselor as well. Applicants must be available to live and work at camp for 6 weeks plus 1 week orientation, from early June through August. Camp Shane has been featured on, MTV, The Discovery Channel and 20/20, our camp's warm and homelike atmosphere is devoted to children who want to lose weight. Founded in 1968, our original camp is located in the Catskill Mountains of New York, only 2 hours from New York City. Join us as we change the lives of children.
