Project Overview: Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one:of:a:kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Job Summary: In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements. This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M:Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.LI:SF1 Major Responsibilities: Subcontract Administration stylemargin:bottom:3.0px;margin:top:3.0px:: Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project's agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Administration: Administers assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties: Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, subcontract administration and other major matters: Administers less complex contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement: Prepares periodic status reports for managementSubcontract Formation stylemargin:bottom:3.0px;margin:top:3.0px:: Conforms and ensures subcontract execution: Directs negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts: Prepares bidders' lists and pre:qualifies bidders: Forms bid request packages and issues bid request packages to approved bidders: Coordinates bidders' questions and answers to those quest
