Today, it is one of the world's great law schools. The Faculty’s rich academic program is complimented by its many legal clinics and public interest programs, and supported by an array of in-house student services. The Faculty of Law is housed in the elegant, state-of–the-art Jackman Law Building alongside two historical buildings, Flavelle House and Falconer Hall, on the St. George Campus in downtown Toronto. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Director, Student Programs, the Student Services Administrator acts as first point of contact for students, providing assistance in all areas of student services. The Student Services Assistant also provides information regarding admissions and financial aid to members of the public who are considering legal studies. The incumbent is a member of two collaborative staff teams - the Student Life team, and the larger Student Services team. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required Scheduling appointments for prospective students, applicants, and current students to address individual needs Handling sensitive and/or confidential information Taking and distributing meeting minutes Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants Verifying the eligibility of applicants Directing the activities of casual staff Essential Qualifications: Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
