Click here to APPLY Student Ministry Director Job Description: Employment Status: Part-Time (20 hours) FLSA: non-exempt Department: Student Ministry Reports To: Family Pastor Relates To: Family Pastor Administrator, Church Staff, volunteers, students, and parents Position Description: Our mission at Riverside Community Church is to multiply disciples, andlive on mission. The Student Ministry Director is designed to give you first-hand experience inministry, and to help you grow as a leader and follower of Jesus. This position will work with theFamily Pastor, as well as the team of volunteers to connect and disciple students, and assist inevent planning and executing. Responsibilities : Regularly connect with students in small group setting outside of scheduled meetings Participate in Student Ministry programming on Wednesdays Teach occasionally on Wednesday nights Administrative support to the Student Ministry Assist with social media posting and strategy Occasionally attend Riverside staff meetings Other responsibilities as assigned Personal Growth : Cultivate your relationship with Jesus, as well as your talents and gifts Go through Reproducible Disciple Making process Leadership : Actively live out the 4 Pillars of Riverside (Life Groups, Discipleship, Outward Facing,and Freedom). Cultivate your relationship with Jesus, as well as your talents and gifts. Support the Mission, Vision, and Leadership of Riverside Community Church. Meet and collaborate with Family Ministry team for strategic planning and events.
