About the role Reporting into the Head of Regional Marketing, the Strategic Category & Insights Controller will be responsible for leading the development and engagement of the EMEA category and Insights story to support brand planning and sales development in the region. Developing a 1-3 year EMEA category growth vision identifying areas of opportunity for growth and communicate it both internally and externally across all key regional customers. This role is focussed on building the EMEA regions deep understanding of what is driving consumer, category and shopper behaviours and to improve the company’s selling proposition and support the delivery of sustainable and impactful category (and brand)-based sales initiatives. This role also needs to be the voice of consumer & shopper to enable the successful development of campaigns, packaging design and innovation across all priority brands in the region. This person will need to be the source of truth for the business category dynamics, key customer performance and consumer & shopper behaviours. Some of the responsibilities of this role include: Drive an insight led culture within the sales & marketing organisation. Lead analysis of category performance, providing detailed business insight on market performance and business issues.
