Storeroom Clerk

Description:
Essential Functions: --- Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance --- Orders food, paper, and chemical products per production needs/pars --- Fulfills floor stock requisitions as needed --- Cleaning and organization of food storage areas including a storeroom, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, and reach-in refrigerators and freezers. --- Sanitation and organization of dock and receiving areas --- Sanitation duties of boxes, trash, sweeping and mopping --- Assist with stocking of food, food Rotation-FIFO --- Consistently practices key sanitation procedures and policies, especially hand washing, proper food storage, and maintaining appropriate temperature of foods --- Practices safety, infection control, and emergency procedures according to facility policies --- Is courteous, considerate, and cooperative when communicating with all guests, team members, clinical support personnel, and client personnel --- Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality) with no restrictions. --- Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and Department policies and procedures. --- Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled. --- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies as needed. --- Attend in-service educational programs. --- Follow defined safety codes while performing all duties. --- Follow defined Infection Control procedures. --- Understand the facility's fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies. --- Follow established reporting procedures for the following: o Supply or equipment needs. o Any damaged or loose fixtures, flooring, or tiling requiring replacement or repair. o Any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: --- This position may be full-time or part-time in a healthcare facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Days and hours of work vary based on need. Rotating shifts, as well as evenings, weekends, holidays, and work during inclement weather, will be required. This is a full-time position. Education and Experience Requirements: --- High School Diploma or GED (required or being pursued by high school student) --- Prior Experience working in a commercial kitchen with an understanding of sanitation (Preferred)
