Shift: (Full Time) Tues & Wed: 8:30 am-4:30 pm Thursday: 9:00 am-5 pm Friday: 8:30 am-3:30 pm Saturday: 7:30 am-4:30 pmPosition Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and dedicated individual to fill the role of Store Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall growth of our store. This position demands a physically capable and knowledgeable individual with a strong representation of our organization.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the store. Execute strategies for growth and development in alignment with organizational goals. Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of up to 8 staff members. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a positive and productive work environment. Customer Interaction: Handle difficult customer situations with tact and professionalism. Take and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. Product Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of building materials to assist customers and team members. Stay informed about new products and industry trends. Multi-Tasking: Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure efficient store operations. Be adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing circumstances. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register accurately and handle cash transactions securely. Maintain financial records and reconcile cash at the end of each shift. Merchandising and Warehouse Organization: Clean and organize merchandise displays to enhance the customer shopping experience. Ensure proper shelving of materials and maintain a neat and organized warehouse. Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred. Physical ability to perform tasks related to the job, including lifting and moving materials. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to diffuse difficult situations and maintain composure under pressure. Basic knowledge of building materials is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Driver's license and clean driving record.
