Overview: Virtek Vision International Inc. is looking for a Stock Controller that has had some experience shipping internationally, including the export/import compliance requirements, as well as warehousing & material handling. Reporting into the Supply Chain group, this position will primarily focus on shipping/export/distribution, including picking/packing/material handling, as well as export compliance documentation. This role will then quickly evolve to include shared responsibilities in receiving and incoming inspection, as well as storage/warehousing & inventory control, cycle counts, order picking for production, and general production control activities. The Stock Controller has a customer service focus for internal stake holders as well as external, and therefore needs to be able to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel and engage in an environment that supports teamwork and respect for people. It is an exciting time to join a cutting-edge tech company in Waterloo at a time when the team will implement and execute new processes and equipment to improve the flow of material and information in order to better support the business. Perfect for an experienced shipper/receiver looking to gain more responsibility and practical experience in an expanded role within supply chain, and with potential for future growth/development.
