Job Summary: A Stock Clerk at PJP Marketplace is needed to stock product onto shelves in the store and the store warehouse. They will need to be customer focused and help with concerns or questions that arise. Availability must include (but not limited to) Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Additional shifts available based on performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Main duties include stocking and straightening product. Lift products up to 50 lbs. Must pay attention to detail and be able to differentiate between similar products. Unloading product from pallet to U-frame. Scan all merchandise. Cross reference new merchandise to increase accuracy. Assists customers waiting for check out in the Marketplace store. Welcome customers with a friendly greeting. Answer questions and help resolve issues when they arise. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications : Knowledgeable of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the grocery/retail industry. Must be able to use safety cutter. Good communication skills. Understands basic instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under immediate supervision.
